@GLDUDE112 – no that’s not the reason at all… there is no camera because of the angle it is typically held… there will be separate wireless bluetooth cameras, but it’s doubtful there will ever be an internal one.
@wdililn – but open-source always fails in the market since it pisses off customers… you need the 90% open, 10% closed approach like Apple & Google employs or you will never be successful.

My opinion: They didn’t put a built in camera into the ipad first of all so they can try to get you to buy a apple camera. 2nd of all its so you don’t have to hold the ipad awkwardly so you dont drop it. last but not least, i would have just made it more complicated.
Well when i watched the video when u said its a bid iPod thouch it could be a mini coumpter with a built in keyboard in the iPad

@wdililn – correct… you are starting to understand the facts… Yes, the UI is key… it’s the crown jewels… so why are you expecting to get the best interface for free? If you don’t want the best, go to Android… it seems to be more your mentality… disjointed, false, low quality, very windowsesque… so go for it!

I’m sure the UNIX core is freely downloadable (as it should be), but what makes it is the UI. Don’t try to dismiss it as something negligible. Without the UI, it’s not OSX anymore.
