@KcKreicar No the iPhone 3G is easier to repair. Yes when you purchase the complete screen from DirectFix com we include the LCD and Touch Panel together. Look at part number IP-2085

  2. KcKreicar says:

is this similar difficulty to the iphone 3g?, and also is the digitizer included in a new complete screen?

  3. 10jmsoccer says:

this is weird to watch because it almost seems like old tech. compared to the iphone 4 tear down. haha

  4. pdaparts says:

@mike82y On the iPhone 2G it is close to impossible to separate the glass from the lcd so you must purchase the complete screen. There is no adhesive needed when you replace the complete screen. Take a look at IP-2085 at DirectFix com

  11. mike82y says:

  17. pdaparts says:

@mike82y If you are referring to to the white antenna cable you can use a dab of hot glue to hold it down or in place.

  18. mike82y says:

what glue do you recommend to use?

  19. pdaparts says:

@SlickKidDownDaBlock You are correct because on the iPhone 2G it is close to impossible to separate the glass from the lcd.
