is this similar difficulty to the iphone 3g?, and also is the digitizer included in a new complete screen?
this is weird to watch because it almost seems like old tech. compared to the iphone 4 tear down. haha

@mike82y On the iPhone 2G it is close to impossible to separate the glass from the lcd so you must purchase the complete screen. There is no adhesive needed when you replace the complete screen. Take a look at IP-2085 at DirectFix com
what about the adhesive for the screen and battery? I want to make sure I can get everything b4 I place my order ty

@mike82y If you are referring to to the white antenna cable you can use a dab of hot glue to hold it down or in place.
what glue do you recommend to use?

umm at the end you didnt take the glass from the lcd do you have a tutorial for that or can you tell me hoe to do it
